Capatoki Video Series
Capatoki first ride
My new acquisition. While this horse has had some work done on her with my sister, I assume she knows nothing.
When getting on a horse for the first time. Always ensure you have brakes. Use you reins gently to ensure they stop. You must be confident that you can stop at any time. If not, you are risking a bad accident.
If your horse that heavily pulls back on the reins or shake their head and refuses stop, I suggest doing work in a small area like a round yard. Possibly with assistance on the lunge.
This series will include many exercises used in Strides Exercises, for more information visit Strides Exercises
