Editing a fence

Adjust pole length

You can now set the length of poles for each fence in the course, so you can specify a particularly narrow fence or to set all jumps to an length. This will allow you to design exactly to scale.

1. Highlight the fence or fences you wish to alter
   
   
2. Right click on it to open the pop-up menu
   
   
3. Select Set pole length to open a dialog for you to enter the length of pole.
   
   
4. On this dialog there is a textfield for you to enter the length and a drop down box. On the dropdown box select your preferred distance unit (feet or metres) and then add the distance in the appropriate format. For metres enter the distance in metres with centremetres being in decimals,for example 4.2 or 3.6. For feet enter the length in feet then add a single quote followed by the number in inches and finally a double quote, for example 14'6"
   
   
5. Click ok. The jump should now adjust to it new size.
